About Me
I was born in 1980 in Brisbane, Australia where I learnt to draw from a young age. My parents are both very manual, always building, fixing, making, growing, or creating something. It’s natural for me to give anything creative a try and see what comes of it.
School was always interesting as long as art class was on the agenda. I breathed art and dreamt of becoming an art teacher but instead made, what I thought at the time, the more sensible choice and pursued the corporate life, gaining a diploma in IT and working in HR Systems Implementation and Analysis.
It was in my corporate life where I met my now husband who took me back to his home country of France where we lived for 10 years before moving to Spain. In the early days in Paris I was unable to work so started attending weekly watercolour classes. I felt that breath of life again and continued to dabble in art wherever we moved. In the South of France I served on the board of an Art Association and took up Linocut.
